Trip to the Zoo

Talofa Lava,
The Year 2 Tuis went to the zoo on Thursday the 10th of April. We had lots of fun and learned so many things. The animals and birds at the zoo are so amazing. We enjoyed our trip to the zoo. Our parent helpers Mrs McGuire, Mr Sabani and Mrs Aujla were fantastic. Thank you parent helpers for coming with us to the zoo. Her are some photos of our trip to the zoo.

We have yet to find out the name of this bird. Can you help us?

Beautiful flamingos having a feed.

We were told that this is the rarest flamingo specis in the world. It is still a baby. That's why it is not yet pink.

Aaah, the beautiful and tall giraffe. Their tongues are blue/purple.

The zebra. They are not always black and white. We looked closely and found shades of grey and light brown.

We were amazed to see the red panda.
