Trip to Stardome

On Monday, the fourth of August , Room 13 went to Stardome. This is what we found out at Stardome.

1. The moon is not a planet  

2. There are eight planets and one dwarf planet rotating around the sun.

3. The names of the planets in order of distance from the sun is Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and the dwarf planet is Pluto. 

4. Mankind has been to the moon and no where else.

5. The sun is a star - big ball of fire.
