Athletics Afternoon!

Last Thursday the year two Tui team gathered together to have a fun afternoon playing games and practising our sports skills. Some of the activities included; sprints, egg and spoon races, an obstacle course, hula hoop games and beanbag throws.
Room 13 had a GREAT time and all of the children tried their best and showed great sportsmanship.
It was also fantastic to see so many parents supporting us on the sidelines!

Diwali Dance Off!

This morning PCS held its annual Diwali Dance Off. The Junior school performance took place at 9.30am and was fantastic! Lots of talented students dressed up in traditional cultural clothing and danced for us. Yashika from our class even created a cool dance with her sister to share. Making Fairy Bread

Today room 13 made fairy bread. We are learning about procedural writing and needed to figure out what ingredients, materials and instructions we would need to give people in order for them to be able to make fairy bread. The class had to tell Miss Barratt how to make it and when we told her to put the butter on the bread, she sat the entire container of butter on one slice of bread! We learnt that we needed to give short specific instructions. Afterwards we worked in small groups to make our own fairy bread, here are some photos!

Year 2 Cross Country Final!

Today we had the year two cross country final! Zainab, Alina, Ocean, Jayden, Ned and Rajenit represented room 13 and were absolutely fantastic! Although we didn't have any placings, everyone had a great time and showed wonderful sportsmanship by cheering on their friends.
